Black Suede Dye issues:Updated 2 months ago

Black suede dye can sometimes behave unpredictably due to a few factors:

✔ Applying too much dye can create an unwanted iridescent or bronzing effect.
✔ Not shaking the bottle well before use may result in uneven color or an unexpected hue.
The material itself might not be genuine suede, which can affect how the dye absorbs.

💡 Seeing a bronzing or iridescent effect? This means there’s too much dye in that area. Simply wipe it with rubbing alcohol to remove the excess, then reapply the dye in light, even coats if needed for a smooth, consistent finish.

For extra care, we recommend using Mink Oil after dyeing to restore moisture and maintain suede’s natural luster. While not required, this step helps keep suede looking and feeling its best!

*Please keep in mind this is a professional product. It may take some time to get it right*
