How can I seal the dye and/or prevent it from bleeding?Updated a month ago

To help prevent dye from bleeding after application, using a neutral wax or lustre cream can help even out the color, buff the surface to a smooth finish, and provide a subtle layer of protection. This final step enhances the look of your dyed piece while keeping it well-maintained over time!

If you are trying to finish a suede/nubuck, using our Mink Oil or Water and Stain Repellent will help seal in the product.

If you are still having issues, there is an over-saturation of dye. Please contact us with steps on how to help you with that process.
