Step 1: Lightly Sand the Vinyl

Use high-grit sandpaper (800–1500 grit) to gently scuff the vinyl surface. This removes the slick top layer and adds texture so the paint can adhere.


Step 2: Clean with Preparer & Deglazer

After sanding, wipe the vinyl down with Angelus Leather Preparer & Deglazer using a microfiber towel or applicator pad to remove oils and residue.


Step 3: Apply Adhesion Promoter

Once dry, apply adhesion promoter for hard surfaces. Let each coat dry fully before moving to the next step in your project.
