How do I use Angelus Neon Paints?Updated 24 days ago

Neon paints create a vibrant look but need a few extra steps for the best results.

StepDetails
Prep the surfaceFollow the standard Angelus prep process.
Apply a base coatUse 1–2 coats of a standard Angelus Paint color close to your Neon shade, avoid using Neons, Pearlescents, or Metallics as a base.
Mix for opacity (optional)Blend a similar standard color directly into the Neon paint to improve coverage.
Apply Neon paintUse thin, even coats until solid coverage is achieved.
Airbrush (recommended)Helps prevent streaks and ensures an even, vibrant finish.
Optional topcoatApply Angelus Neutral Paint on top to enhance and protect the Neon finish.

Why It Works:
A matching base coat and thin Neon layers create bright, bold color that glows under black light.
