How do I dye fabric using Rit DyeMore?

1. Prewash the Fabric – Wash in warm, soapy water to remove any finishes that could prevent dye absorption.

2. Prepare the Dyebath

   • Fill a stainless steel pot with 3 gallons of water and heat to 180°F (just below boiling).
   • Wearing protective gloves, add ½ bottle of well-shaken Rit DyeMore per 1 lb of dry fabric (double the amount for 100% polyester).
   • Stir well with tongs to ensure even mixing.

3. Dye the Fabric

   • Place the fabric into the dyebath and stir occasionally.
   • Let it soak for 10–30 minutes or until the desired color is achieved.
